Emily + Brandon | Nashville Intimate Wedding Photographer | Homestead Manor Wedding

Emily and Brandon just finished up school in Philadelphia and upstate New York, and decided to come back to an area near where they grew up to have a simple and meaningful wedding day. The two are high school sweethearts and decided to share their day with just their immediate families at Homestead Manor. It was the sweetest and most intimate wedding ceremony on the second floor front porch of Homestead... and I was seriously in love with everything about it!

The afternoon started off with Emily and her mom and mother-in-law getting ready in the school house. I was so impressed with all of Emily's details - her hair, her bouquet, her veil - because they were all handmade by her mom and mother-in-law. Seriously...look at these details and don't tell me they're not stunning and sooo professionally done. Her mom also made the back of her dress a little more custom, with buttons lining up the top.

Brandon spent his afternoon getting ready with the dads and Emily's brother, who rocked a Star Wars bowtie (which Emily's mom also made...of course!). Just before the ceremony, Emily opened a sweet letter from her soon to be husband and I took Brandon over to one of the really cool, manly rooms in Homestead Manor for a few photos. When I asked him what he was most excited about, he said he was just excited to finally do life with Emily - to buy a home, live together for the first time, wake up to one another every morning - all the exciting things a marriage brings into life!

To be present at their ceremony was such an honor. It was so intimate and special, and I could really get a sense of just how much Emily and Brandon's parents have loved and supported them since they were just kids. Following the ceremony, I got to take Emily and Brandon around for some photos..and what can I say, there is not a bad spot at Homestead Manor. To celebrate the newly-weds, the night ended with a little dinner and cake. I am so excited for Emily and Brandon to start their lives together and I couldn't be any more thankful to have been a part of their day!
