Mr. and Mrs. Cartwright | Midtown Fellowship Wedding | Nashville Wedding Photographer

Mason and Ellen have been two of the most fun and sweet people to work with! Hearing stories of their lives together leading up to this day, and seeing how close their families are was truly a highlight of their wedding.

The day started off at Ellen's childhood home, which I later found out that her parents will soon be selling, so it's even more special that she got ready here. Any day that starts out at someone's home just makes a wedding day feel so much more relaxed and personal. Their ceremony was held at Midtown Fellowship in 12th South. Shortly after we arrived it was already time for the first look. One thing that I loved about Mason and Ellen's first look is that they decided to incorporate their gifts into this time as well. We set aside a few minutes for them to exchange gifts, and this was probably one of the sweetest parts of the day. Mason gave Ellen a beautiful necklace, in place of a necklace he had given her earlier in the relationship that was stolen from her apartment. It was an especially joyful day celebrating all that Mason and Ellen have done and will do in their lives together. I am so excited to share today and SO so thankful for these vendors who made the day happen!
